This filter allows you to isolate sessions where the ES triggered a circuit breaker in the overnight session. Overnight circuit breakers are levels where the market is not allowed to move beyond prior to the open of the regular trading hours session. The circuit breaker levels have varied over the years , +/-5% being the common level used as of Jan 2020. Hitting the circuit break is a sign of extreme volatility.
