RSI - Relative Strength Index - Contrary to its name, it does not measure the relative strength of individual stocks or indices to one another. Instead, RSI measures the average closing gain of a security to the average closing loss of its prior "X" sessions.
Day After 2 Day RSI > 95 - The prior session 2 day RSI (daily setting) was greater than 95.
Day After 2 Day RSI <95 - The prior session 2 day RSI (daily setting) was greater than 5.
Bollinger Bands - Two dynamic bands plotted a number of standard deviations away from a simple moving average, developed by John Bollinger. Bollinger Bands are useful identifying when price action has moved statistically further than one would expect and a pause or reversal in the short term trend may be more likely.
Day After Close Above Upper Bollinger Band - The prior session closed above the upper Bollinger band. The Bollinger band settings are based on a 20 day simple moving average (SMA) and 2 standard deviations.
Day After Close Below Lower Bollinger Band - The prior session closed below the lower Bollinger band. The Bollinger band settings are based on a 20 day simple moving average (SMA) and 2 standard deviations.
