Exits are the prices at which your profit objective or protective stop loss are triggered. The amount used for an exit is projected from the entry.
Below are the types of exit methods available on the Discover platform.
5 Day ATR - This method adapts to the current volatility by giving you options to select that are based on a percentage of the 5 Day Average True Range. Average True Range is an average of N samples of the True Range. True Range is calculated by measuring the distance between the extreme high and low of a session, including the prior closing price (if it is beyond the day’s trading range) to account for opening gaps that did not fill.
Dollars - This method allows you to set a fixed dollar amount to use as your exit.
