An electronically traded futures contract that is equal to only a small portion of a normal futures contract. E-minis contracts are available on many indices such as the S&P 500, Dow, NASDAQ 100, and Russell 2000, as well as commodities such as oil and gold from exchanges such as the CME and ICE.
